There are a few updates I wanted to make on here concerning Reformed Baptist activities here in Virginia. I think 2014 is going to be a very active year and I’m looking forward to what God has in store for us here in the Commonwealth. Here’s what is happening this year:
* Pastor Jeff Riddle is continuing to labor in Lynchburg with the eventual goal of getting a Reformed Baptist church plant established there. Right now it’s considered a “preaching point” and it seems to be drawing a fair number of people, many of whom are students at nearby Liberty University. Please keep this effort in prayer.
* The Reformed Baptist Fellowship of Virginia has scheduled the thirteenth annual Keach Conference. It will be held September 26 and 27 at our fellowship, Covenant Reformed Baptist Church (Warrenton). There will be updates in the future regarding the speakers.
* This week a number of us from CRBC started up our abortion mill ministry for the first time this year. We went out on Wednesday and I’m pleased to report that our numbers have increased. Two more brothers, Lord willing, will be with us there on a regular basis. Please keep us in prayer.
I’ll post more updates as needed. For those of you who live in Virginia who know of any Reformed Baptist activities going on, feel free to let me know so that I can post those updates on here.
