Titus is Almost Here!

This is going to be the last weekend in which Titus will be in the womb!  Yesterday was his original due date.  If he doesn’t come at some point this weekend, then Hollie will be induced on Monday.  The risks for complications and other problems goes up when you have a child who is overly late.  Right now we’re simply doing some last minute preparations around the house.  Staying indoors is great on a day like this as the temperature is past the 100 degree mark.

Please keep us in prayer.  Pray that God will bless Hollie and Titus with good health.  Pray that God will bring wisdom and discernment to the doctor and others who will be ministering to them.  Pray for me as well, that I may minister well to my wife as she goes through labor.  We appreciate your prayers and encouragement.  Emma and Rylee are with their grandparents in Ohio right now and my mother-in-law will bring them down once their brother is born.  Please pray for their safe travel.

Everything is set!  Yet no matter how well we plan for something, we must always rely upon the mercies of Almighty God.  He has already extended His mercies in so many ways.  In light of that, I would like to thank all of the families from our church who have offered to bring us food in the coming two weeks.  Thanks to everyone who gave us gifts for Titus.  We are blessed beyond measure.  I can’t wait to announce his birth on this blog!
