Happy New Year

Happy New Year!  I wish all of my readers a wonderful and blessed 2011.  I sincerely apologize for being absent from this blog.  The end of the year was really busy for me with both final exams and the holiday season keeping me from putting pen to paper.  But alas I’m back!

I hope 2011 will be different in that regard.  I’m not going to promise daily postings, but I want to have a consistent posting schedule of some kind.  At least that’s my goal.  Of course my seminary studies will always come first.  I will do my best to incorporate my studies into what I write here.

All of that being said, I want to start something new here.  Every Sunday in 2011, I’m going to post questions/answers from the Baptist Catechism.  While it’s not neatly divided up on a weekly schedule like the Heidelberg Catechism, I’ll do my best to spread the 114 questions/answers across the span of 52 weeks.

I hope that these weekly postings from the catechism will encourage fellow believers in their study of theology and the Scriptures.  I’m looking forward to this new year and what God has in store.  Again, I apologize for my absence and I hope you’ll continue to follow this blog.  Soli Deo Gloria!

    Josh,

I’m glad you are back. I was about to start looking in the obituaries…

Say, how much snow did you all get recently?

Welcome back, dear! I like the idea of sharing the Catechism questions 🙂
